APRILIA RS 125 GENUINE WORKSHOP IN SOUTH WALES???

Hello everyone, could ya please help me on this one...

I need to replace the old transmission shaft on my Aprilia RS 125 with a new one. Because the teeth have got blunt, and there's no grip for my clutch pedal linkage, therefore constant annoying slipping.
It means me taking the cover, gasket off and putting the new one in.

I have no idea how do it, although it may be a easy 1,2,3 for someone on here, I really have no mechanical experience.

Is there any genuine non dealer workshops in south/central wales who could replace the shaft at a reasonable labour cost?

Anyone who has experience in assembling a gearbox, how long would it take and how much do I expect to pay labour costs?

The reason I'm asking is because as soon as workshops find out you don't know much about fixing bikes, they do you up the arse and charge you for it.
Really don't want to head for the dealers, known for their up the arse shenanigans, that's why I'm calling for help.
Any help/advice/pointing to much appreciated.
