Arai?

Buy whetever helmet that meets the required safety standard in your country and the one that fits you best.

I've owned a couple of Arais in the past and rate them highly Thumbs Up

Looking at that site, they're just a typical budget helmet. You get what you pay for with helmets. The most important thing is that it fits well.

No, not Arai, Aeroh.

I've owned one, it was a good price (Bike show NEC) and I thought it was pretty good value. Stopped using it after 2 years as the lining had compressed and it had become too big for me, but apart from that it stood up well, aerodynamically it was good, and not too noisy either.

Not especially. Looking at that small site, being £100 each, they are certainly at the 'budget' end of the market.

I've had an Airoh Pr2000 for 2 years. It's a flip-up. This was my first helmet and had nothing to compare it with. I've got a Shoe Raid 2 now and I can tell you that the Airoh I had was too big, too heavy, too noisy, built badly, steams up, vents useless, visor scratches to easy. Was £100.

I'll never go back to 'cheap' helmets now I know what a proper one feels like... Pay the extra if you can, you won't regret it.

Pinlock is absolutley brilliant.

Siwy which country are you from?

There's an airoh dealership out here, my friend has one and they look cool but i don't feel as safe in them as wearing a brand name such as AGV or Arai (call me a tart, i dare you!)

I had one (can't remember the model). It was great for 70 quid, the reason I got rid of it was that I went through a car window with it on. I used it on the 125 but wouldn't trust it so much for doing high speed riding.
