Norwich Union - Quote me happy!

Last Thursday I called Norwich Union Direct to arrange changing my car insurance address for me moving house on Friday which was meant to be at no extra cost from what I'd been told when I took the policy out at the start of February. Apart from they decided that they wanted £200.49 for me to change address now.

Have conversations with various manager people as I'm slightly pissed off that £0 has now changed to £200 and after half an hour the net result is they'll change my address over for no extra cost.

Moving house didn't actually happen on Friday so yesturday I was on the phone to them trying to arrange changing my address back hopefully again without cost. All details are changed over and then they ask me where I want the refund paid to, they worked out I was due a refund of £213.41 for changing address.

So that'll be £213 refunded for changing address and then changing back again a couple of days later, I can completly understand their logic.

Next time you're buying insurance give Norwich Union a try and don't accept what they're saying until it means that they'll be paying you.
