Sky remotes are very cheap off eBay.

You need to tune in the digibox. There should be a function in the menu which allows you to 'set up' or something. Then it will scan through the entire frequency and bring up the channels you can receive.

the dish and digibox does not give the same free channels as a freeview box. To get the ITV and channel 5 channels you need to order a sky card for just these channels, it costs £20 and they guarantee it will last for at least 3 years. That is how i did it last year.

About a month after i got mine they phoned me up trying to sell me a better package which i declined, a month later they phoned me up and offered the basic sky package (everything except skysports and movies) on a trial at £5 a month for a year - I bit the blokes hand off and now enjoy all the uk channels plus discovery etc.

\But you do need that £20 card to get itv ch5
