just reading MM's question and got thinking about films.
Which is your most memorable scene from a film. eg..
One of the earliest scenes from a film that sticks in my head is the final fight scene between luke skywalker and darth vader on the death star. Luke suddenly gets all hard and starts beating vader, finally chopping off his hand and putting him on his arse.
As a little kid i thought that was fucking ace Very Happy

or the rescue scene from the 1st matrix, with the helicopter Thumbs Up

Opening scene of saving private ryan for sure.

The lobby scene in matrix one.

Any thing from the 3 die hards.

Terminator 2 shoot out with police (mini gun part)

Hard boiled has some good scenes.

The sex scene in Team America.

I actually quite liked the scene in Green Mile where they put the black guy to death, very well made, and in Armageddon, that is also very well put together.

The opening of Saving Private Ryan is powerful stuff too.

Not wuite a movie, but the ending of series 3 in 24 was quite emotional as well Thumbs Up

The intro to Conan the Barbarian, where Thulsa Doom's men raid Conan's town. Oh, and the scene where Conan +co break into Thulsa Doom's temple and take back the princess - That scene is about 10 minutes long, and is accompanied by the best pieces of music from the film with not a single word said by anybody during that time. Absolutely fantastic Thumbs Up

Hmm, the first one that came to mind was the sex scene in Bound.

Beautifully shot - stylish yet still got the intensity across.

Any part of the film The Crow ( 1st one ), mainly the bit where he's sitting on top of the building playing the guitar and then smashes the amp with it, great piece of music/riff. And the scene where he's standing in the gothic style window.

The end scene in Gladiator where they pick him up in the arena.

The main fight scene in Ong Bak, where they are fighting in the bar.

Loads more but my minds gone blank but these spring to mind.

The whole of Saving Private Ryan. Crying or Very sad

The Matrix Reloaded when there's loads of agents.

Lock Stock ... when Barry the baptist says to that little camera .. "No not now, not now, oh you f*cking b*stard!"

Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe. When the little boy gets his arm torn off by a train and they give it a funeral.

The Matrix when Neo goes to see the Oracle.

And one of my favs ... Kill Bill when Uma Thurman calls out Lucy Lui in Japanese and says "You and I have unfinished business!" That one gives me goose bumps. Laughing

The bit in Highlander where he's taking the quickening and the windows behind him shatter is cool.

Same film, but the bit where he's fighting the guy at the beginning and his sword ends up embedded several inches into the concrete post after chopping his head off is pretty neat.

A lot of the above, and also the first big fight scene in Blade.

The showers of blood, the tune, and Blade killing a lot of people/vampires.

Shotgun butt to the groin, followed by uppercut-headshot is a favourite. Also knives. Big fuck off shiny ones. Thumbs Up

Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next......"
