Rocky 6!!!

I was told by a mate a couple of days ago that a 6th Rocky is to be released in the summer. I didn't really belive him, because Sylvester Stallone is almost 60 now...
but lo and behold, watchin film 2006 with jonathon ross, and there he is, directing and acting in it!!
surely it should have stopped at rocky 5....? what a shockin film that was...

I remember reading about this. They were saying how it ironically mirrors the often sad demise of ageing boxers that are forced out of retirement to pay tax bills, only to lose thier once great reputation.
Surely Stallone can't need the money!

Was never the same without Burgess Meredith shouting abuse at Rocky. A scene that sticks in the mind is when Rocky's trying to get into boxing again, and mickey just snaps and tells him it basically broke his heart to see Rocky throw his talent away. With sports n' blokes n' all that, that's about as emotional as one man gets with another. The first Rocky movie is an absolute classic, a model for the perfect film.

As for Rocky 6, is Sly really doing it for anything other than attention? I assume he doesn't need the money, and he hasn't been in a big film for a while. Ex-bodybuilder and "hollywood" type, reckon he's got quite an ego to fill up. No offence, I like a lot of his films, it just seems odd to drag Rocky back from the count-out.

Maybe he needs advice from Burgess.....

The Rocky films were light hearted fun. The first Rocky film was a proper film though.

In his Auto-Biography he said he had wrote Rocky 6 as closure for himself and that he's never make it.

He's supposed to be making the next Rambo aswell now.

He's obviously running out of money.

whats better? rambo or rocky?
personally i think rambo 3 is the best in that trilogy. rocky 3 i'd say is the greatest rocky-Mr.T is so cool!
