hmm, this doesn't really fit 'found on the net' as although I found it on the net I'm not posting to share it, I'm hoping somone can help me figure it out!

So, how does the programme do it? I can't figure it out!

The symbols change each time and the answer it gives it always the one next to the zero, always multiples of 9 as well...

If you notice, the same symbol is on the every 9th number.

eg, 9, 18, 27, 36, 45 etc etc

Now then,

for each one you get a multiple of 9.

EG

99

9+9 = 18 99-18 =81

98

9+8 = 17 98-17 = 81

Every answer is a multiple of nine. That's the only trick really, but the clever one about this one is that it changes the symbols each time you try it again. So every answer you come up with is an answer of nine, and every symbol you get is a multiple of nine, on that go.
