The air's cold and the wind's bitterly freezing Thumbs Down

I'm bloody well fed up with it. It's the middle of March for goodness sake. And next weekend the clocks go forward to mark the arrival of British Summer Time (BST).

So, when are we going to get some weather appropriate to this time of the year ?

I wanna ride my bike, if you please Wink

Rant over.

Yep. You're right. And don't I know it.

At my age I consider myself lucky to have any blood at all - thick or thin Razz

Lady.

I've got very good, decent textile gear (leathers are absolutely crap in the cold and wet).

I've also got heated grips. But they don't help in Riga mortise cases Shocked

The only thing I haven't got at my age is enough red blood cells to keep me warm in the cold weather Razz

Well ive been snowed on 4 times this year allready Rolling Eyes

I'm sick of it too, no choice to ride or not i can see why some of you do only when its sunny..

This time last year we'd got a mates bike back on the road and went for a celabratery 100mile blast arorund the peak district in glorious sunnyness..

Not going to be a long time till this lot clears.. hopefully Confused Neutral

Behave it ain't exactly Siberia out there ????

I wear a set of Frank Thomas Aqua textiles, a cheap neck warmer and gloves over a fleece and jeans. The only part of me that ever gets chilled is the tips of my fingers and thats only after riding 30 minutes+ at 70-80 MPH on frosty mornings, other than that I stay perfectly warm.

Perhaps you need to get some better gear as obviously your hoody ain't man enough for the job Wink

Now stop being a big Girl and put the car back in the garage
Wink Smile

No it ain't. But it's a f*****g freezing wind. And it just adds that -10 degrees centigrade wind-chill-factor - Brrrrr Shocked

Sod that for a game of soldiers. Give me some 'warm' weather with a 'slight' breeze Razz

Still feels like Siberia to me Thumbs Down

I agree it's beyond a joke now. I heard on the radio that this time last year it was 20degrees!
This weather is no longer acceptable.
Ahhh what I would give to be able to walk outside in a t-shirt and feel warm sunshine on my face without a bitterly cold wind to ruin it.

It can't be long to go though. I'm hoping we will wake up one day soon and feel that perfect sunny, still warm day.

COME ON!!!!

I've been wearing my Hein Gericke Voyager 2 piece all year, haven't been cold once apart from painful hands on longer rides...

The wind pisses me off though... Hopefully soon to be remedied by a GS500E with fairing though Very Happy

Just think back to this time last year...

I had ridden down to Malvern to spend a day and a night camping with my parents. We sat outside in the sunshine for the afternoon, then walked to the pub in the evening wearing nothing but a vest and a skirt.

Lovely. Very Happy

I'll just keep dreaming.
