Yes - found said sticker - thanks very much sickpup

it says 2.5 kg/cm2 2.5 kg/cm2
2.5 kg/cm2 2.8 kg/cm2

i assume the lower numbers are for when carrying passengers
i am guessing this as all the writing is chinese!!!

Thanks again

I'm confused - do you mean the lower pressure, or the numbers that are lower in the list?
The higher pressure would be for when carrying a pillion.

BTW - the writings probably Japanese actually, but I don't suppose that helps!

Do bare in mind the pressures are only applicable to the OE tyres fitted in 1988. Youll need to find the info relavent to whats fitted now, and thats usually on the sidewall of the tyre.

Dont know why i didnt say that in the first place.....

Possibly because there is no correct pressure. It all depends on the conditions, rider weight, suspension as well as what you feel confident with but as the original tyres iirc were Michelin M89x radials the sticker pressure will be a good start point.
