Reasonably priced broadband

The guvnoressa is thinking about installing broadband at ye knocking shoppes and has asked me to search about to find a reasonably cheap one.

There are two flats: one downstairs which has two independent phone lines and the flat upstairs has one phone line. At the moment, if we want to get on the net, we have to use one of the phone lines, which means less calls coming in for "business", so invariably all internettage is done on one of the downstairs phones - so obviously broadband is the way forward, with a wireless network for those of us who want to bring laptops in (I already have a wireless card and a "dongle" on my laptop)

We don't need high capacity broadband, just reasonably priced, as we're not likely to be doing loads of downloads or stuff like that ... its predominantly only likely to be used to read "punting" websites, so that our website/s can be updated during the day rather than when the boss gets home late at night ... and, of course, ... for me to come and annoy you lot on. Laughing

There's such a huge choice ... anyone got any suggestions?

I've never had a problem with Telewest (Now part of NTL, so coverage shouldn't be a problem).

We don't really want to change telephone companies, she's on BT already, so I guess I shall poke around in that site and see what fits her requirements.

Nah, I know, I've had it before myself.

Its just that some companies package it so you have to have the telephone service and the ISP service together, make you buy one and the other as well.

But I'll have a squiz and see what's interesting.
