hi guys/gals, just purchased the above and its a bugger to start!
engine turns over but wont fire,although sometimes it will.
Usually have to push it and then she goes.
Please help Razz

changed the plugs? right measurements for it?

she was supposed to have been serviced prior to purchase and has started ok, but just in the last week its been getting more difficult to start her. i have new plugs that I will fit if you reckon thats the problem, what gap should they be? Thanks

Seems like a carb problem to me too, give the carbs a good check, check the fuel tap is in the 'ON' position, maybe give it five seconds in the 'PRI' first of all to get the petrol in. If the engine turns over it's most likely a fuel problem as far as I know.

new battery fitted, engine turns over well enough but just refuses to start Crying or Very sad

I'll be working on the bike tomorrow, replacing plugs so i'll check the carbs out then, anything to look out for?

Replaced spark plugs and cleaned up carbs, put it all back together and prayed!

Hit the fire button and she started Laughing

Spark plugs havnt seen the light of day for a few years it seems, so much for the supposed service she had.

Anyway I'm off for a run and hopefully all will be well.
