ok, ive just come home with my new C&S set, ive been told that the chain is 2 rollers too big, and needs to be shortened, how do i do this, also, how do i go about joining the chain afterwards?

i think the sprokets should be ok to change...

You need to invest in a chain breaker riviter ebay sell them bit pricy but gets the job done properly. In your chain kit you should find a side plate and a soft link for riviting together its an easy job but best done properly.
