If you're best mate goes out with a girl then so be it. The easiest compromise for me was to act all Bi around my best mate showing a bit more jocularity than was intended. This would inevitably get the girlfriend jealous, therefore he'd spend more time with you. It doesn't seem like a selfish act i don't think. If you have a Gf, why not go on a double date?
