First off all never mind getting it on to a feild get your cbt and then get out on the road and see then, bumping it over a feild will not give you a proper feel for the bike as well as risking getting banned and fined if you get caught. Get some one to test drive it for you then get them to take it back for the garage to check (from where you got it from) if its not right, not here to judge but dont risk getting done and loosing the oppertunity to enjoy biking ____________________ YAMAHA YZF 1000cc THUNDERACE- 'ƃuıןןǝds ʇnoqɐ ʇıɥs ɐ ǝʌıƃ ʇuop ı |

The more pressing question, in my opinion, is why you bought a Chinese replica 4 months before you can ride it? It will be rusty before you've even taken it on the road! |

Got one myself for around that price not had it long.
First thing i changed was the back sprocket it was nearlly as big as the back wheel and could only get to 40mph before screaming the engine. Now it cruises happilly at 55 - 60 with some throttle left. Not had it full whack yet as im still running in the engine. My engine is identical to the older xl model (not sure what year)
My gear selector was stiff till i took it to a honda shop and had the back sprocket done and now its fine. So it is possibly the wheel alignment.
There is one big problem with it though the fuel tank is soooooo small £3 fills it up and pours the rest down your leg or fairing.
You get around 120 miles to a tank |

ill get the sprocket no for you tomorrow (bike all locked up)
i still has quite a bit or throttle left
Im hoping for around 70 - 75 mph flat out but i have about 120miles to go before im classing it as run in so i have to wait . Then im gonna whack it and see what it can do.
Also mines a late 05 model and a honda xl125 copy if your is the same and you need parts take it to your local honda dealer and tell them its a xl copy and they should help you out.
The shop near me (ormskirk) actually sells these bikes as well. |
