My company is running one of these tax free offers, and the information is all obtainable on above site. I am after a laptop rather than one of there PC's, however only really use the PC for the internet. So what would I need to do to get a fairly good connection on the future laptop, and what would work best with games/ipod etc.

the Inspiron 6000 is a far better machine and would perform better if your interested in games. its got wireless & wired network so will be fine for broadband etc and has a standard modem if dialup is needed.

theres plenty of USB ports and a firewire port for your IPOD/other gadgets etc so its the one id go for.

Ended up with the Dell Dimension 3100, as it is cheaper but better and I might aswell get a proper PC as I wouldnt transport a laptop with me.
