has anyone tried getting men and motors on freeview? It says "itv play launches april 19th" men and motors can be found on sky digital telewest NTL - no freeview! What are all us poor people going to do! Laughing

I do some work for ITV and the reason they have done this is there is limited channel transmission space on Freeview they can make much more money with ITVplay than M&M.

ITV will then get you to waste your money on expensive phone calls with a remote chance of winning a bit of money rather than watching birds, cops and bikes where ITV's only income is a bit of cheap advertising.

They also dropped the ITV news channel to free up space and save money

Often watch men & motors channel, we used to subscribe to Sky but it just kept gettin more & more expensive so cancelled it some time ago now, love men & motors, tends to have some interesting stuff on it and I dont mean boobs Razz

Not the best channel ever, but there were a few shows I liked, such as re-runs of the Sweeney, Minder, Professionals, and some of the bike stuff.

Still, at least I won't have to hear that woman say in that irritating, unsexy and annoying voice "text 1, text 2, text 3, that's just 50p each" etc etc every 15mins.
