I am having a problem with my 1986 GPZ1000, i have just been in my garage and it has dumped all its petrol on the floor. After lifting the tank which was only sat on top as i am still servicing it and looking in the airbox it seems like the petrol has all come out of the top of the number 1 carb and straight out of the bottom of the airbox. There are no signs of any leaks on any of the pipes.

Can anybody suggest what the problem may be.

Stuck float/valve not seating properly in No1 just letting all the petrol straight through. You'll have to have the float bowl off to check it out.
