I got an old CG125 back end of last year for a bit of practice before my test.
Good practice, but crap bike

Thing is now the wife is starting to learn to ride so the bike has been passed to her and i would much prefer it if it was running a bit better

Problem 1 - the bike will only do 50MPH
problem 2 - The choke isnt working right. If you put the choke on the bike wont start so it takes a bit of starting (especially with it being a kick start) and once it is running if you try to put the choke on it stalls the bike

I managed to live with it, but i would prefer if she didnt have to

somebody mentioned that i may need the carb setting up...does this sound right?
if so any advice on how to set it up would be appreciated

thanks

Somebody has recommended setting the carb up
They mentioned adjusting a clip on the needle inside the carb

Does this sound about right?

I would rather it ran at 50 than not at all Laughing
