Hi,

I took the race can off my SV after some issues with the neighbours. It's been serviced since, don't really know what they did.

Going on holiday with the bike next week, and just wondering:

Can I just put the race can straight back on? Will it need re-jetting/ carbs balancing etc?

Will the bike run lean, will it damage anything?

thanks

Putting on a race can will not really do anything major to fueling. Is you SV fuel injected?

If your worried about it running lean, then I'd recomend taking it to a dyno for a diagnostic's, they will tell you exactly whats going on with the fueling etc... Best £50 odd you'll spend.

Race can will hardly affect fueling, bit its always good to get your bike on a dyno so you know whats going on.

Personally, if its just a can I wouldn't worry about it.
