Who's got one Question
Any good Question
whats the video and sound quality like?

just that i was looking on e-bay and fancied one of them bullit style ones with the 1gb memory card for £109.99, im thinking tape it to the bike or tape it to the helmet for when we go out this summer when me and a few pals go up and do a mini "Long way round" trip round Scotland.
That way you take a few spare batteries and a few 1 gb memory cards (thats no weight at all) and im sorted but if they are really cack quality i wont bother!

you can also buy the cams that plug into your videocamera are they better or no different id prefer not to lug that around with me.

cheers all for any advice! Wink

The cameras that have recorder integradted as well only do 15fps; not good enough for bike action.

15fps

that frames per second?

does that men it would play back all jittery and jumpy skipping all over the place?

so what do you reccomend for bike action 20-30fps?

15fps would look wank.

Best bet is a camcorder with AV-in and a separate bullet cam, quality is top notch.

Just need to be careful with the camcorder, mine buggered up from the vibrations Sad

how about gaffa taping an old tape camcorder to the side of the fairing, and transferring it to pc later ?

high fps, long record time, low cost

wrap a towel round it, try leave to leave gaps near any vents on the camcorder so it remains cool Thumbs Up
