Just thought id say, in 40 minutes im going to ride the cbr for the first time in 6 months.

Im like a kid at christmas, its fantastic.

I switched insurance over this morning (only £21 quid, bargain) which covers me till i go back and then some. And im getting it MOT'ed now (hence the trip at 2ish).

Its got the standard can on, which is a shame. But IF it passes (cant really see any reason why not, asides from no mirror on left side) im gonna put EVERYTHING on tomoro/weds.

Gonna be great.

You don't need mirrors for an MOT.
Looks like you're good to go. Thumbs Up

IT PASSED!

To near misses though, downpipes are holey, and apparently my crash damage is dangerous.

Aside that, good to go. Blue flames on tomoro Thumbs Up

Only the one in the members gallery.

Might try and get some pics soon, ive been all paternal today.

After getting back from the test i cleared up/out loads of stuff. Chain, sprocket cover, whole engine etc.

Im gonna have the biatch into pieces tomoro, hopefully back together by the day afterwards (Brick Wall).

Forgotten how much of a cock R + G's are to get on and off.

But its one side down now, then fairings, then gotta start it up to warm the oil, drain the oil and refill after fitting new filter, drain coolant, take off rad, take off exhaust, switch for old headers (after taking the arrow off the link pipe and sticking it to the full system) and do everything back up again.

Can you tell (by list) that im still mildly confused as to order the tast of doing about 4 different jobs at once.

Already soaked the header/bolts in wd40 when warm so they shouldnt be a prob. Had em off just before i put it in for storage.

I was amazed (compared to the vfr) just how beautiful its mechanical condition is.
