tested my france trip kit as it always pisses it down when i go,

today from wakefield to east coast - scarborough - and back - the long way no Mway or even dual carrage ways rained all the way there and back

recommend - RST Aqua Tec gloves - 4 hours and no leakage

Sidi Black Rain boots 4 hours and no leakage

Fog City Hyper Optik Visor Insert - NEVER mists

Dainese coolmax under suit - as it wicks away the fatboy sweat - keeps you warm

Spyke 2PC leathers - into 2nd season of abuse mixed with no care - excellent

Rubber earplugs on a string - genius

I rode home last nite in my Alpinestars SMX Jacket through a hailstorm and in through london and although it got wet, it didn't soak through. It's comfortable and well vented- so it's very good for summer use.

Alpinestars GPS3 Waterproof - also survived the hailstorm without a single leak.

Bob heath Vee Wipe. Possibly the single most useful bit of wet weather kit ever. At 4 quid, it is a bargain.

Ziplock plastic bag to keep mobile phone, tobacco and skins in. Dry as a bone and costs next to nothing.

Belgian army goretex over trousers. £25 from any army surplus shop. Buy giant ones you can just pull on over the top of everything else.
