Rightio,
I've been riding my ZX6R on knackered head bearings for a few months, now this week I finally got the chance to get them replaced. Since I've got the bike back from the garage the notchiness is gone and the handling in corners is great but I'm finding when I'm riding straight at low speed the bars feel very light and feel almost "wobbly" I don't know if it's;

A) It's a sports bike and supposed to be this way
B) that I've been so used to riding with the bars locked center that I've just got adjust my riding and get used to it
C) Something needs tightening up?

Any suggestions?

Cheers

I go for A.
You can improve it by dropping the fork legs through the yokes a little, to make the front of the bike sit a little higher.
You may also find it improves when you next change the front tyre. Worth checking the tyre pressure as well???

Not vibrating, just really flighty handling, doesn't really feel planted until i'm doing 30mph or so..

On the subject of steering, my zxr400 it steers perfectly going left but sometimes (especially at slow speeds) its takes a lot of effort to turn right.

Anyone got any ideas???

Cheers
Tom
