Advice needed

Im now in the market for a new bike
I know a few bikes i would like and would like to know of any bits of advice about them when helping me to choose one.

So far i like the gsxr600 from 2001 onwards, zx6r (or 636), the yamaha r6 (not the new one), and i am also quite keen on the ducati 748.
Ive got a maximum of around £4500 to spend (the morei can save the better)

As an outside choice i absolutly adore the aprilia rsv mille. I know its a litre machine and i do trust myself to be carefull untill i get to know it. Ive seen quite a few on ebay for around £3500, however this would only be a viable option if i could get a reasonable TPFT insurance quote on it.

Both the Italian bikes will bankrupt you if you drop them, thats if the servicing doesn't first. I'd rule out those two.

For £4k you would get a mint low milage 636 b1 or b2 if bought privately, another £300 if through a dealer. I have one and love it to bits so I'm biased.

To be honest the bike will always be better than you anyway, so I'd go for the one that you a) prefer the look of b) get at the best price and c) that suits your riding style when you test-ride it.
