With the original post, I pretty much agree with flip, although he got a bit of a tongue-lashing for his opinion. I'd do nothing. None of my business, general apathy takes over. Might be different if I had actual proof, was directly affected, or just if I was annoyed by the woman. Still don't think I'd phone though, I'd just repeat the story to people who I think would make the call. I would also not want the anger of scum benefit cheats to be taken out on me, so it's a sort of apathy/cowardice mix.

Bonny's tangent. Only question I have, is what sort of hydroponic gear costs £1000? It's either a very big setup, he bought way more than he needed or he got ripped off. Then, after spending an over-inflated sum of money, he sets it up in a benefit cheats house? He sounds very dumb, in many, many ways.

No shit. A couple of desk lamps and a cupboard will work. About now you can even plant them outside and they'll probably survive, although a windowsill is a better bet.

I can't even think of what you could get for £1000 that would seem worthwhile. Could possibly spend £200ish, and have a really good, almost professional setup. For £1000, I'm thinking of big greenhouses, or at least a very well kitted basement.

If he needs to buy anything else, let me know. I can get hold of some very good lightbulbs for a grand.

I know someone that used to grow some weed in their bedroom- made a basic box out of MDF and nicked a massive industrial light from the outside of a factory on the docks. Worked a treat (apparently!)

Well the logical question to ask next is, would you dob if it was a member of your family defrauding the benefits system?

I asked today, apparently the tally is £550 for 11 plants. Neutral

Like i say, the dudes an idiot.

He just goes to me, 'erm when my tyre comes in for the GS, if i bring some tyre levers down can you help me fit it'.

After id stopped laughing i explained hed just fuck his wheel.

Then he started ranting on about how easy it was on his ktm, blah blah blah. This coming from the guy giving it all the bunny about how easy tensioning chains was (when we were on 50's), and then after buggering it up complete resorted to hitting my tyre with a hammer Neutral

Hes not all the ticket.
