Hi

I'm wondering since the NTV650 is the daddy of the deauville does the front end of the deauville (ie forks & braking system) fit well onto an NTV650? , the only real issue I have with the NTV650 is the single front disc which stops OK most of the time but has had me standing the bike on its nose more than a few times panic stopping which is probably very hard on the front forks + brake.

Would there be any other issues to consider? , by chance I found a written off (rear shunt) Deaville with the front end intact , and he the guy wants beer money for the parts.

Thanks.

FWIW the Deauville has a linked braking system. Depends on the year what type of system. So without looking into it I'm not sure if that'll affect the disc/caliphers. Logic tells me it shouldn't, Honda engineering makes me doubt the logic Wink Very Happy

If might be easier putting the NTV back onto the Deauville front Shocked Confused

Not sure if this post will help you or not, sorry if it didn't.

Best mod for front end for that range is cbr600f2/f3 front end. That is if the ntv is the same as the bros/hawk. Think it is.
