went and saw andy today in hospital, in general he seems dam good considering, this story is about what happened getting there! Laughing
nice warn day so grab the leathers and deside to take the ninja, got stuck in rush hour traffic which is fooking crap on that costal road, basically got stuck in a jam behind a lorry, filtered to the front and overtook the truck only to find a km long clear straight road, so i decide to stretch the ninja legs and cane it, get to about 120 before slowing up a bit for a slight bend, get round it and check my mirrors and guess what i see, yep blues and two behind me. oh crap i think but not too pissed off as i was being a tw@t, give the plod the thumbs up to indicate yeah fair cop and indicate to pull over, with that the car speeds past me and off it the distance! WTF you have to be kidding it must have been on another call, just hope i didn't hold him up!
couldn't believe how lucky i was not to get pulled! strangest thing was that once in hastings i ended up filtering past the same car! Shocked , i made sure i did everything properly!
i believe its karma, so for going to see andy i got away with it, unless the copper got it on video with my reg and going to do me at a later date
so thanks andy and get well soon
WN

and for the safety nazi's i know it was stupid speeding to see a mate who is fooked due to a bike crash, but hey thats life live with it!

120 mike? Shame on you Thumbs Down

And for the safety Nazi's : When we were riding away after leaving Andy in hospital we rode just as fast, if not faster than before the accident. These things happen, they are a fact of life. You can't stop enjoying your life because of them

Lucky to get away with that. My dad had some thing similar with his car, was doing some thing like 110 to test out this new car he bought and suddenly the police came up behind him. Lucky they where on there way to somewhere else and just indicated for him to slow down.

Haha! Mike got owned!

Similar thing happened to me though mate, my mate paul got into a go kart accident in a 24 hour race.

Followed the ambulance all the way to the hospital, jumping red lights, playing with the horn, hazard lights on.

Passed a shit loada coppers and they didn't seem to mind!

We're lucky f*ckers!

Cheers

Chris
