Hi

Not much changed. I now have your old TZR250.

How did the job situation pan out?

All the best

Keith

Blimey! I thought Marjay had fallen in love with the TZR - did he end up doing all the stuff to her he had planned? How is my old baby? Send her a hug from me won't you?!

Well, I left HP coz I was offered a job which sounded better then chancing redundancy, the new job turned out to be a big pile of pants so I've come back to my old job at HP but can only be a temp coz of the redundancy thing and I've just got to hope that once 1/2 the dept goes in July they want me to stay!

Not easy being me, I tell ya!

Hi

He fell in love with an RGV. We picked the TZR up on Saturday and today is the first time I have properly ridden it (insurance docs came through yesterday). Marjay had fitted a caliper off an R6 onto it, but to be honest I am probably going to rebuild the original caliper and stick that back on. I have spare forks and shock with it so going to get new springs for those and get someone to set them up for my weight. He had also found some Nikon race pipes for it, and a few other bits and pieces, and the tyres are pretty new.

Few electrical gremlins today which I need to trace down but not worried about those (hardly like the electrics on it are complex). Basic idea is to get it back to good standard condition over the coming months / years.

Sounds like you jumped from the frying pan into the fire. Ouch. Good luck getting the job you want in the long term.

All the best

Keith
