Hey guys,

A bit pointless but I was just wondering, What time of day do you normally ride, Or should I say, What time of day do you prefer to ride??

I actually enjoy late night riding more than any other time, like 11-12pm starts and going on till like 1-2am.

I think its because theres less traffic about and people which gives me a bit more freedom to be an idiot and ride fast, but I must add I still keep to ( or at least pretty close ) to the speed limits threw 30 areas.

But I tend to stick to urban areas as I get to cold/scared riding threw twisties at this time of night Crying or Very sad

Mid-day FTW Thumbs Up

Pretty quiet, hottest point of the day, and it used to be great to have a free period in college and take the bike out for a THRASH across the countryside. I used to be able to get about 80 between the school back entrance and the top of the playing fields (main road, NSL). Nothing like interupting a school PE lesson with the scream of 2t exhaust whizzing past Mr. Green Thumbs Up

Yea, I must admit I love watching there bored faces in there mirror.
And I even more enjoy it when I see the same car in the same traffic jam down the road if I have only just popped down to the shops to get somthing.

I love the ride to work in the morning at 7am. Sets me up for the day. Even more so when i manage to get a day off and your riding through the countryside, just as its getting light, knowing you've got 12hours riding ahead.

Going for a gentle ride to a small village pub by the river on a Summer's evening is particularly satisfying.

How's about putting evenings on the list?

There's nothing better than getting home from work, bit of dinner then heading out for the last few warm hours of sunshine. Traffic is calm, tarmac is warm from the days sunshine, the air is cooler. Roll back into the garage as the sun goes down. Perfect.

I love early morning weekend rides, but it's aften still frickin freezing.

Mmmm roll on summer nights Very Happy

I don't like the idea of morning rides; it reminds me of commuting, which no matter what you're doing it on, I don't like. Plus the roads are usually colder which can make riding less fun. Me, I like the afternoons. Get in from school or work, go out for a countryside blast, and blow off any steam. But a hot night in the height of summer could be pretty lush as well.

You had no option for evenings (couldnt be arsed to read replies, too caned) mate. I love going out just as the cool breeze and whipping about, and the cages are few and far between.

Can go out and just enjoy the road, and the odd fun overtake.

You dont get stuck behind lorries/school run mums etc.

Late Sunset/Twilight (same thing?) It's starting to cool down, the cars have all pissed off and I tend to have my most enjoyable rides at this time.

Any time is good, but I tend to ride more during the day time than any other time.
