nsr cheap?

i kow somebody selling his nsr. imthinking of buying it because my rxs is a joke, im fixing it every weekend. he wants about 600 quid for it i think it is about 1997 and has a spare engine and 2 fairings spare, 1 needs painting the other needs plastic welding. it has a small amount of damage from a minor spill(smashed headlight and indicator and a few scuffs. u think i should buy it. will the insurance be sky high im paying about 300 quid now third party only.
