Its new tyre time for the summer, so what do people suggest?

Basically looking at the following 3 pages of tyres.

https://www.tyresonline.net/shop_sub_category.asp?categoryID=39&main=25&offset=0
https://www.tyresonline.net/shop_sub_category.asp?categoryID=39&main=25&offset=8
https://www.tyresonline.net/shop_sub_category.asp?categoryID=39&main=25&offset=16

I don't do many miles, do very little in the wet, do like to rag it when I get the chance and also do a fair amount on the motorway since its like 50 miles each way to my nearest bike meet Confused
Truth is longevity aint really an issue grip is though.

So informed input only please, was considering the 014's to replace the 010's I currently run, been suggested to look at the mich pilot powers though.

Cheers

Just fitted 014's to my zx6r, found them much better than the Michelins. They were scrubbed in to the edge within 100 miles last week, and have done a stint on a freezing cold evening at Cadwell. Very confidence inspiring.

To be honest though, I suspect you won't find serious fault with any of the main brand sports tyres as it sounds like you fit the bill for what they are designed for. Appart from the motorway miles of course, but then nothing sticky will be great for motorway munching anyway.

I'd avoid the super soft track tyres though, as your likely to square them off pretty quickly and any benefit will be quickly lost.

Which Mich's?

Yeah I am the average joe which the 014's etc are designed for. Just a sod I do some motorway miles now and then, always end up squaring them off. Sad

Avon Vipers. Thumbs Up

Can't fault them. Seem a little bit more durable than the 014's too.
