The normal/usual reason the alarm goes off non stop is the live to the alarm is disconnected.

Did you put the alarm into service mode before removing the battery?

Is the fuse blown?

Have you refitted the battery? if not the alrm will stay going off.

Never had to despike a system and don't have a PDF reader on this comp so can't look at the instructions. Always seems to be the live to the box in my experience.

Sounds like it's in service mode; check out the FAQ for the alarm on their website. Incidentally, I have the same alarm and in service mode it does absolutely nothing - is this normal? Confused
