I have ditched the 17yr old driver idea, and am now looking for a bike.

Must be 125cc

Any Price.

Well?

Cheers,

Soul. Thumbs Up

Shit loads on www.biketrader.co.uk and www.ebay.co.uk

Take your pick, and ride away!

Obvious ones are NSR, RS, MITO, or off road stylee, DT, XR, yadda yadda, yadda.

Spoilt for choice mate.

Depends what you're looking for..

If it's to pass your test on, I'd go for a CG125, SR125, GN125 etc...

If it's for fun, get an NSR125, RS125, LS125 (Rare)

You'll get bored of a 4t 125 if you're not planning on doing your test soon.

Cagiva 125s have dirt cheap insurance, but still go like stink. tf&t on a mito was £380, on an rs125 it was £1069. Go figure. Plus, a mito looks like a ducati Drooling Somehow i ended up with a cagiva planet, which looks friggin' mean, goes like stink, handles very well, and has a more upright riding position.

Cagiva have a 125 for every learner, the planet/raptor have an upright riding position, the mito is the 916 wannabe, and the supercity is a hooligan machine.

Hmm, I think it's gonna be a choice between an RS125 and an NSR, even though I think they are damned ugly, but a good bike all the same.

Streetfighter RS? naaah.

If I had to make a choice between an RS and an NSR I must admit I'd probably go for the RS. Never really been much of a fan on the NSR to be honest, but then again you'd probably be better with something like a DT/TS. Would cost you a lot less if you dropped it and will put up with a lot more abuse than any sports 125.

Thumbs Up

The insurers laughed at me for insurance on an RS. Get some quotes, they're far from the cheapest bike to insure.
