Just a word of warning for anyone who is on the pay as you go scheme hoping to get a no claims bonus after 8 months,, 1 missed / late payment and the policy is cancelled resulting in you having to start all over again,,

good news though Bennets quoted me £80 less than ebike and I can ride any bike third party !!!

and they wanted £120 a month to insure me when insurance2000 wanted £880 for a year!

For the cost of insuring my bike with e-bike for 8 months i can have over a years worth of cover with insure2000.

Always found it strange that for a pay as you go policy the payments were to a company called panacea finance ?

It's a pity as I only had a few payments to go for a ncb,, still on the bright side this time next year i'll be looking to upgrade my current bike and will be able to take my 1 year ncb with me to any company

I've always found e-bike insurance to be quote over double what others have quoted.

I had to laugh when Bennetts came out cheapest for my R6. Laughing

Ebike simply wiped the floor with everyone I tried for insurance, £759 for a CBR Sport as a 1st bike Fully Comp, no one could get anywhere near it.

Thumbs Up from me, can't fault 'em.

Insurance companies sometimes sub-contract the work of collecting payments out to a finance company. the insurance company just does the insurance related stuff. This is usually the case when the insurance company arent big enough, or have the facilities to collect itself.

My car insurance is through endsleigh but its a separate company that collects the payments. Thumbs Up

its ok nothing dodgy Razz

pay as you go is quite expensive but otherwise they are good

its better to get a loan to cover the premium and pay all in one go, much cheaper than pay as you go insurance

5 months ago ebike were the cheapest by far for me too,, however 1 slip up and they cancel the insurance Evil or Very Mad ,, they're attitude when i tried to sort it out imho stank,, it seems that now they have a large chunk of the insurance market they dont care,, with the bike season just starting Bennetts seemed to be a little more interested in my custom...
