I just want to know has anyone ever lost a race with a car when on your bike ?
If so what was it and what bike were you on?

Its just so many people tell me how fast this car and that car is but im always like yeah its fast for a car but a 600 sports bike can do 0 -100 in 7seconds and theres only a few cars in the world that can compete with that.

I have raced many scoobys and M3s but they couldnt keep up at all you could see that they are fast but not near the bike.

I know its not about stats but what you can make the bike do and how far the driver can push the car, have any cars surprised you with how fast they are?

A J

I rode kittens restricted 400 home for here and lost like a loser to some merc. I then pretended I wasn't trying and sloped off behind a renualt megane. When the Merc had gone I raced the megane to make myself feel better.

Only time I have had a slight problem losing a car is in the wet, when I have had to go faster than I felt comfortable with. Gave my mate a 10 minute headstart once in his Porche and still managed to catch him when i was still on the zxr400, through twisties.

Was about a 60 mile run, and he did get stuck behind some cars, his overtaking options were obviously more limited than mine Thumbs Up

Back in 125 days yes, but to be honest I don't count cars who want to to 40mph in 30 zones, I gladly let them pass.

Also in the wet, yes I am overtaken, also when its gales on the motorway, i'm on the inside lane doing 40, trying not to sh*t myself.

My Supra will do 0-60 in about 4 seconds, but I prefer playing with bikes while on the move, its more equal.

I was playing with an R1 on the M25 late one night, we were hitting silly speeds, close to max, and there was nothing in it from 70+.

I've had a go at against an GSXR750 from the lights. Obviously beat me from standstill, but I reeled him in before we both let off.

Bike are more fun tho. Thumbs Up Wink

Hence why the car is up for sale. Thumbs Up

Totally disagree im afraid. I've got videos of a CBR600R having its ass handed to it by a Mk2 Vauxhall Astra. Astra is nothing special, phase 3 2.0 16v Turbo (around 310bhp). They done 4-6 videos accelerating from between 30-80 mph up to top speed, in different gears.

Bike would get the initial jump, but the astra would soon real him in.

Most 600cc bikes would get really cained if they were against something like a tuned Supra or Skyline.

Most standard cars don't have much of a chance, but when it comes to modifying cars, a LOT of bikes would be obliterated.

You really wouldn't if he was driving it properly.

500+bhp in a car weighing not much more than 1.25 tonnes. Im not keen on Rarri's at all, but enzos are damn quick on acceleration and handling. Only just over 200mph top end, but plenty enough to eat a bike in every aspect.

360M, he must have owned a 360 Modena before the Enzo Laughing

What about 1000cc bikes, I dont really see many of these bikes gunning it on the roads, but the other day I saw what seemed to be the new GSX r 1000cc cain it off the lights, was pretty amazing, it had already reached the next bend ( must of been doing at least 80mph ) and all the other cars ( yea I no they wernt racing and where shit cars but still ) had barely selected first gear!

Im big into my bikes and cars...

I've sat in a Supra with a mear 424bhp sat up the ass of a Kwack 750 (prob a Ninja, this was a few years back) round Box Hill. Got on the straight back to the cafe and the Supra easily sailed past the bike on the outside. That was the first time i woke up to fast cars being really fast Laughing Cool

I got completely outstripped by a F40 in a few 100mph roll-on drag races once. I did manage to catch him up the first time when he roared past me though, even if it did take 10 miles going flat out Laughing
