A friend has put a deposit on a blue and silver bandit 1200 - its silver with blue flame/stripe effect. Is this a standard special colour or has it had a paint job? It has large scuffs and dints in the standard can - If it is a paint job i guess its had a bad crash.

thanks

As a buyer, I'd go for the safe option and presume that the bike had been dropped and then re-sprayed after. More than likely that it was dropped with the standard can on and then replaced with an aftermarket one...

If the seller wasn't forthcoming with this info I'd personally walk away.

How old is it? They did do a limited edition blue/white paint job. I'll see if I can dig out a piccie.
