Riding back from a friends house this morning after going up to Oulton Park yesterday and I came across an accident as I got to the outskirts of Mansfield.

Two young lads on 125s waved me over and told me that the police had stopped all the traffic ahead and turning them around.

One of the lads had started to get his map book out and I asked where they were headed, turns out they were looking for the A17 as they were heading to Norfolk.

So I guided them back to Newark and once on the right road they gave the thumbs up and I set off ahead of them.

I still thought riding to Norfolk on 125s was a bit mad though! Shocked Laughing Cool

I used to do the length of the A17 at the end of my 200 mile trek from Manchester back to Kings Lynn where I used to work. Admittedly, I did it in the car!

That route and especially the A17 on a 125 wouldn't be much fun at all! Rather them then me!
