i am looking to do some cosmetic repairs on my er5. does anyone happen to know the colour code for by bike. a pic can be seen on link below. .

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4625364322&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

also where can i get canned paint and/or touch up pens (am from wigan if any of you are local)and would you bother using them. there is some rust where water has collected where the seat joins the tank. apart from this there are some small shallow scratches that may need a bit of filler. and a scrape on the rear panel that can be seen on pics which im aware will have to be sprayed in total.

if any filler is needed is it best to do the whole panel?

and finally how successfull have your own repairs been..pics would be good.

phew.........thats a lot of help needed.....just lucky to find such a good board...

cheers in advance

Im sorry i have no idea of the paint code, but you wont neccesarily need it if you visit a motor factors that does paint mixing. They should be able to match the paint for you if you take say, a side panel in to them ive had this done on several bikes and its worked fine. If you dont have a decent motor factors in wigan, then i think halfords do paint mixing, though they will be expensive probably. good luck with it mate Thumbs Up

If it's an original Kawasaki paint job, then your local Kwak dealer will be able to supply a 'paint stick' for about £10.
