Right, the CBR4 has been off the road for a while now and wasn't sparking, that issue is sorted now. So after hours of poking and playing I know that it's sparking because I licked it and pressed the starter, I know the fuel pump is working because it spat fuel at my panties and I know it's turning over because... well it just is.

So any ideas on where the hell I should start poking/licking next?

Put the battery on a trickle charger overnight and try it tomorrow.

Even if its sparking outside the chamber it might not be inside the chamber (becuase of the heat and pressure and whatnot)

Try emptying the float bowls, could be flooded!

Try a car battery, when a bike bettery is low it might not have enough to turn the engine over propperly (happens allot afaik) even if its new give it a go..

Best thing is to put the plugs in, give it a try, take them out.. if they are covered in peetrol, weak/no spark, if they are dry as a nuns bits then no/not enough fuel..

Good luck Wink

Ok that might be your mechanical ability but mine is a bit higher than that, please refrain from giving advice to me in the future.

It's already had that done and was only put back into the bike today.

Going to try that next, as for taking the spark plugs out, not really an option, CBR4 spark plugs are a bitch to get at.
