when looking over my bike yesterday i noticed that there is three little cracks in my rear disk, doas anyone know what could have caused them it hasnt to my knowledge had any impacts to it.

Can just happen with heat and wear. They get proper hot when used, and so expand, then with the nuclear winter we have had, cool right down to below freezing, then get used and red hot again and so forth.

If they are worn quite a bit, then they will be weaker anyway, it's just one of them things. Looks like a new disk is in order mate. Thumbs Up

The disc may just be properly old then. I would definatley replace it though. If the cracks lead to a bit of the disk becoming pronounced, it then may catch on the brake pad with potentially scary concequences.
