Damn my little brothers destroying my things! Evil or Very Mad

They scratched Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Gran Turismo 4. The only 2 games that i feel like playing at the mo.

So is there any working way to sort of get rid of the scratches so that I can get these working again?

Cheers.

If there is a CHIPS store near you, quite a few have machines for getting rid of scratches on discs for a couple of quid.

There is a sort of wet-wipe style thing too apparently. I did have a promo sachet of it somewhere but I've lost it. May be worth a try.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I will have a look at them and see what to do/try. And yes the cellotaping of hands together sounds very tempting. Laughing Thumbs Up

My DVD rental store offers a service for £2.50 a pop. At a party my PS2 fell off the mantlepiece and scratched the game inside. Took it to them, the scratches were still visible, but the game played perfectly. Smile

I tried toothpaste the other day and it was crap.

I was gonna try T-cut but my dad has thrown out a pretty much brand new bottle of it because 'it was with all that junk'. ffs.

I have been defeated by the scratches.

First I put on motorcycle chain wax and rubbed it into the scratch with a cloth, then cleaned it up. Never worked.

Second, I tried the toothpaste. Rubbed it into the scratch. Never worked.

Third, I put the disc in the freezer for an hour. Never worked. (I was up for some experimentation!)

So it looks like I will have to admit defeat to the all mighty scratches and take the discs to get them done properly! Crying or Very sad

Or i could give this a try, in a last stand against the scratches;

I'd take it to the CHIPS store near you and get it done, Ive tried the disk polishers etc in the past with bugger all luck. Its not that Im bias in anyway shape or form as I'm opening a CHIPS store soon. Laughing
