my gs is mended

to cut a long story short , i have owned my gs 500 from new. i bought it when Riossi were closing down to do my DAS on. from the very early days I have hated it. It ran rough regularly, I have been dismissed as , variouslly, inexperienced/a stupid woman/underconfident over the past 3 yrs of ownership. Now and again it ran ok and I quite liked it (well it is still a gs after all ). Just before the egg run, teaman noticed the choke was sticking a sorted it (took about 2 mins) and since then its been great. I've done 1500 miles in 3 yrs and 150 in the last week, thats how much difference its made. So big thank you to teaman and to those with a persistent intermittent fault, never give up and dont believe people who tell you its all in your head .

rant over sorry for the length of the post but i've taken a lot of sh*t for this in the last 3 yrs and it nearly made me give up biking.

I totally know what you mean qossy my bike isn't running right at the moment and it's killing my top end which means I'm not enjoying the motorway as much as I think I should, and it's not as safe either but I still love riding as much as I've always loved it - I'm glad your riding flame has been rekindled.
