there's a few of us looking at riding together in either the US or Oz - most of us have been on bikes for years, but there's one newby on a restricted licence - does anyone know what that means for riding abroad???

I got onto the NSW authorities and it doesn't seam to be a problem - provided visitors have a full car licence they can drive anything (including bikes) up to a tonnage limit - seams mad but who am I to say?
There, you're restricted to 250cc for one year then not at all - so my pall's riding experience is more than equivalent to an open licence there too....
We're being lent some bikes so no probs with the hiring companies - looks like Oz best watch out... |
