Let me correct you..it does not..It wil only happen if you are using shit oil, like mineral. Use fully synthetic and this will not happen as it all burns... |
Bollocks , it does,nt matter what oil the bike burns there will always be carbon/oily deposits, my Kawasaki KR-1S was always ran on fully synthetic castrol TTS and had the black oily carbon shit sprayed over the cans and arse of the bike as each use and thats been the same with every two stroke l,ve ever owned. ____________________ Past:NRG50,AF1125(x2),NSR125RR,ZZR250,CX500,VFR400,KR1S,ZZR600(x2),CB400N,YZF1000(x2),KH125,Z200,FX400R,CBR954RR(x2)GPZ500S,GT550,VFR750F(x2),RD350N,XR650R,CBR600F,CB250,KDX250,YZF750R,CRM250,400EXC,KLR650,TTR600RE,DR350S,R100GSPD,RGV250,VMAX1200,DL650,KZ750 Present:G650XC,C12,CRF450X,1190ADV

I have been running my Derbi Senda 2t for the last 2 years with fully sinthetic 2t oil...Not once have i notised anything dribbling out of the silenser..Only time i notised any deposits being ejected from the pipe was when i had a new head , barrel and piston and was running it in, This was also with a stock pipe..with baffles. I now have a MetraKit thrower which is strait through with regards to the silenser.
Not once have i notised anything being thrown out. The Derbi's have two seprate tanks, One for fuel one for Petrol...Im speaking from experience. |

Tatters and Stinkwheel are entirely correct.
When i had 2 strokes, they always spat oil, and coked up exhausts, regardless of the oil used. My mates 2 strokes spat oil and coked up exhausts, from highly tuned track bikes to scooters. Id love to know how you can conclude that your 2 stroke burns "all" its oil, when 2 strokes can pass a fair amount of their fuel/oil straight out of the exhaust, due to having no valve to prevent this, hence their comparitive inefficency when compared to 4 stroke engines. Even disregarding this majorly important fact, unless you have absolutely complete combustion (virtually impossible), of your mixture which contains oil and fuel, you will get oil and fuel in your exhaust. ____________________ Bluespark Automotive - Diesel Tuning for Performance and Economy |

Never tried this on the NSR, but did with my scoot, if you hold a lighter at the end of the exhaust and rev the bike hard, it will catch the flame and burn off all the petrol and oil that's getting chucked out
(either that or it'll blow the lighter out, takes ages to get it to catch)
