Bah! After deciding to try and rebuild the jigsaw puzzle that was my airbox rather than put K&Ns on (at least for now) we have discovered that the rubbers don't actually reach the carbs when the box is in situ, and we can't get a seal. Rolling Eyes

The carbs are 50mm.

Some suggestions about what else has the same size carbs that we could look out for rubbers for would be useful please guys!

The bike is a Kawasaki ZL400, I'm told the engine is also in a GPZ400R, and may actually be a sleeved-down verion of a GPZ500 engine - although it would appear that the same engine appears yet again in my bike's big brother the ZL600 only presumably ported?

I had a similar problem on my 550, but solved it by changing the rubbers that go inbetween the carbs and engine inlet-manifold for some longer ones. Obviously if you don't have any suitable inlet manifold rubbers lying around then this doesn't actually help Smile

Is it possible for you to make a little metal bracket so the airbox can be bolted slightly further forwards, or would bits of the frame get in the way?
