I'm looking for a new backpack with space to carry a helmet, at the moment I'm considering an Oxford humpback.

Any one have any recommendations?

Cheers.

Backpack? Do you mean a tailpack, or a rucksack?

Anyway, neither. Unless you've got an out and out sportsbike, get a topbox. Smile

Just get a decent cargo net, theres adjustable ones out that work nicely and less pishing about that putting it in a bag..

Most decent tankbags you can fit a fullface helmet in if you need to..

If you need a rucsac anyway theres a few that expand for an elmit (somebody will know Razz )

Could you imagine coming off and landing with a helmet on your spine Sick . Only keep clothes and soft stuff in your back pack IMO.

If I was riding the bike, the helmet would not be in the backpack. Thumbs Up

If I left anything in a cargo net on my bike, it would not be there when I returned. Neutral

I think I'm going to go for a Knox aeropack.

I haven't got one myself, but I've heard good things about them, although the price is quite steep. Thumbs Up

If you have a Ducati and want to be the ultimate tart, they've just brought out one which fits a helmet. It looks like the 999. Laughing

EDIT: But with a 10 year guarantee, that Kreiga looks like an excellent choice! Surprised

The new ducati one looks damn awesome. It'll hold a helmet and nothing else, and the helmet won't even be totally covered, though.

The Knox is good, I've had mine for at least 4 years now and it's still all in one piece. Use it pretty much everyday, though not always on the bike.

Good point.

Do you want the rucksack to keep the helmet in when you walk about? or just when you pick up a pillion or somthing? if the second cant you just strap the helmet strap under the rear seat?
