Right, the headlight on my XR6 is crap. I do alot of night time riding and its just not bright enough. The manual says the bulb is an 'S2 35/35W'. I'm guessing that means the bulb type is 'S2' and it's rated at 35 watt? I've tried searching for a brighter replacement bulb but can't find one anywhere! Can anyone help me out? Cheers!

A halogen won't be as good as just getting a higher wattage bulb, which you should be able to get from Halfords. I suffer the same problem as you on the Cat, and I've been told by them that I can buy a 95W bulb to replace the standard 45W. Thumbs Up

WARNING!! WARNING!!
Higher wattage bulbs are GREAT!....... for a short while

then the excess heat slowly melts any plastic items......like reflectors......or lenses.

Be VERY careful before going from 35 to 100 or more watts.

That link looks correct....the s2 bit is probably the bulb type....does it look like yours?
(note also its rated for plastic lenses!!!)
