Bike tax question

The tax on my bike runs out the end of this month although the MOT doesn't run out until next month and my insurance policy on this bike runs untill March next year. Can I retax my bike now or do I have to put a new MOT on it before it can be taxed?

When I was getting tax last year for a different bike the woman in the post office was messing around for ages and at one point she said she couldn't tax it as the documents weren't all current for the year or something (but they were, she was just being slow) so I'm just asking now before I go to the post office and make a fool of myself!

As long as the MOT is valid at the time you tax the bike (it can expire the next day), you will be OK, same with the insurance
