Hi

has anyone had any experience with these bastard things? flashing valve caps? my brother fitted some less than a fortnight ago and already they've stopped working, he went to try and take them off and they've somehow welded themselves on Confused .... any ideas how to get them off? we're worried about damaging the tyre valves...

cheers Thumbs Up

When I had a valve cap weld its self to the valve I had to go get the valve changed.

I suppose that since they're pointless and also dangerous as they can tear the valve out at speed you could just try smashing it off, easiest option will be a new valve though and should only cost a few quid.

You're s'posed to lube 'em up before hand. They always seize up. Either that or you two nitwits have forgotten about the grub screw in the side Razz

Mole grips and a blowtorch should get 'em off if all else fails.

There are definitely grub screws, they should have come with an iddy biddy allen key to adjust them. It should be located on the narrow part below where the batteries are housed.
