Hi all, selling the gpx this week all things going well and am going to look at a 94 model yzf600. Anybody own/ed one or have any non-biased opinions on them.
Haven't even seen it yet but its good to be prepped when I get there. Any known issues to look for etc?

Obvously I will be making the call dependant on conidition and milage, but am willing to listen to advice.

Im in 2 minds about it right now though. Im getting pretty good money for the gpx and the yzf is going to cost me bugger all to make the change. BUT and this is a big butt.
If I wait a few months I would have the money to pick up something newer like a 98-99 zx6r,gsx or cbr.
Since this is my first jump to a 600 Im thinking something a little cheaper would be good for at least another 12 months of experience, since Ive only be riding to 12 months now.

I dont ride like a loon and think I would be sweet on a newer more powerfull bike.
You know what it's like looking down the barrel of being without a bike for a while though.

Also I think the seating position on the yzf is going to be a nice transition to a real sports bike.

Correct me if Im wrong or call me a dickhead and tell me to wait.
Either way tell me what you think.

I just hope it isnt covered in those shitty pink decals. Else the decision will be made. oh and thats a no by the way. Could always take them off I guess.

So this is neither the R6 nor the Thundercat, but the YZF600 that was made from 94-96? They are pretty rare, aren't they?

If it looks like a good deal, go for it. I don't know masses about these bikes specifically, but the advice to 'wait, and get a bigger/newer/better bike' is often practical, but not what you want to do. It comes down to whether you actually like it, or whether you're just buying it now because you can afford it now.
